FAQ's
What do I need to bring?
A rucksack, water bottle and appropriate clothing. In the winter, this means lots of thin (quality) wool layers, plus waterproofs and boots. In the summer, this means hat, suncream, thin long sleeve clothing and closed toe shoes. And lots of spares!
What do I need to wear?
Ideally long sleeves and trousers to protect you from brambles, and sturdy closed-toe shoes (no flip flops!). Dress appropriately for the weather with a sunhat, or wrap up warm in lots of layers and wellies. See out kit list for more info.
What if I need to use the loo?
We have a compost loo on site, but where possible please make sure number 2's happen at home beforehand.
Do you provide food?
All of our sessions either include lunch or a campfire cooked snack depending on the time of the day. Please bring a water bottle with you.
What do you do if the weather is bad?
We will be out in the Forest rain or shine, please come prepared for the elements and pack a coat! We will only cancel the session if extremely high winds or lightning is forecast.
What is the minimum and maximum age?
We have different age brackets for each session, but in a nutshell there is no age limit!
Kindergarten - 2-5

What can I expect from my session?
This will vary greatly by session. We will generally start off with some introductions and ice-breakers, followed by some free play with optional activities from bug hunting to fire lighting. You will be free to explore the woods however you like, and we will follow your lead when introducing new activities.
Do you do birthday parties?
Yes, we do children's birthday parties on Saturdays throughout the summer term. Click here for more info.
